In other award from CAR Conference action on Wednesday in Las Vegas, two of the remarketing and used-car industry’s go-to analysts were recognized with the Ed Bobit Industry Icon Award from NAAA and IARA.

Earning the recognition were Tom Kontos of ADESA and Tom Webb of Cox Automotive.

Presenting the award to these respected economists were NAAA president Mike Browning, NAAA chief executive officer Frank Hackett as well as Tony Long and Jeannie Chiaromonte of IARA .

Bob Rauschenberg of ADESA has won this year’s IARA Circle of Excellence Award. The award was presented to Rauschenberg on Wednesday, during an IARA event at the CAR Conference in Las Vegas. 

Rauschenberg is the executive vice president of sales, marketing and special services at ADESA. His posts in the remarketing business have included roles with ADT Automtoive, ADESA and ABC Auto Auctions.
