CONCORD, N.C. -

Dealers in and around Charlotte, N.C. have a new auction to choose from when acquiring used inventory for their lots: Auto Auction Holdings’ Speedway Auto Auction of Charlotte, which is located in suburban Concord, N.C.

The new facility is located on 33 acres and touts five lanes for its weekly sales on Tuesdays as 2:45 p.m. This is the third facility to be operated by Auto Auction Holdings and joins sister auctions located in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., and Longwood, Fla.

The new auction will be managed by Ally Ayers and Brooke Rowell, and the first sale is set for March 23.

“Speedway Auto Auction of Charlotte has been a long time coming,” said company spokesman Alan Willard.  “We actually started this process almost three years ago, and as the severe weather hit this year our timetable for opening seemed to change day by day. Charlotte is the hub of a dynamic economic area, and we are excited to be a part of it. We feel strongly that Speedway Auto Auction of Charlotte, as an independent auction facility, will be a tremendous benefit to local and regional dealers.”

Dealers not able to attend the physical sales have a variety of digital and Web-based options to choose from, as well.

The new auction will also feature technologies and auction processes including Auction Insurance Agency, Auction Access, AWG Simulcast and multiple internet selling channels.

Auto Auction Holdings expects to break ground soon on a fourth location, Music City Auto Auction of Nashville, which is set to open later this year.
