CARY, N.C. -

This year’s National Remarketing Conference will once again have a strong focus on the top fleet/lease, captive and OEM consignors. However, attendees to November’s annual event can also expect an in-depth look at dealer consignment and buying.

In fact, Sonic Automotive corporate used-car director Hal McLarty is already on board as a speaker. And for other industry leaders who want to share their insight on key elements of the used-car business and shape the discussion at the forefront of the business, now is your chance.

Auto Remarketing Conferences announced today that the Call for Speakers for the 2012 Auto Remarketing Used Car Week conference series — which includes NRC along with two other industry events — is officially open.

Conference organizers will be accepting speaker proposals through Aug. 1.

Used Car Week is being held Nov. 12–16 at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Ariz. It kicks off with the “CPO Dealer Forum – Real Dealers. Real Experience. Real Profits.” event, which is on tap for Nov. 12-13.

Then on Nov. 14, Used Car Week will feature the “Re3 – Recovery. Repossession. Remarketing.” conference, which will be followed by the “National Remarketing Conference – Great Minds. Big Ideas. Solid Results.” from Nov. 14–16.

With educational sessions focusing on dealer-specific interests, remarketer education and legal/compliance issues, Used Car Week will not only bring the industry together for valuable relevant insights, but will also provide distinct, targeted information for each of these industry segments.

The 2012 Used Car Week Conferences bring together the intelligence, innovation and leadership of the used-vehicle industry for three unrivaled events in one outstanding location, The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Through sharply focused sessions in the main hall, dynamic on-stage conversations, targeted small-group discussions and one-on-one networking opportunities, attendees will learn what strategies are working, what changes are on the horizon and how it will all affect their business in the years ahead.
