On Tuesday evening, Manheim’s 24/7 Bid or Buy now wholesale vehicle marketplace OVE.com  held its third annual Otto Awards ceremony at the NAAA/CAR conference in Las Vegas , honoring five auctions with the accolades.

“Named for the company’s ferret mascot, the Otto Awards are broken into five winning categories, each including one Manheim and one independent auction location,” officials explained.

“As a pioneer in online vehicle remarketing, it is very important to us to celebrate the accomplishments of auctions that are excelling online,” said Glenn O’Leary, OVE.com’s director of independent auction relations.

“The Otto Awards are unique in that they allow us to recognize the success of our Manheim locations and the achievements of our valued independent auction partners. OVE.com is currently used by more than 200 Manheim and independent auctions that are committed to helping their customers buy and sell inventory efficiently,” he continued.
 
Presenting the awards were Janet Barnard, Manheim executive vice president and chief operating officer; and National Auto Auction Association president Charlotte Pyle.

Online Buyer Confidence Award: Manheim Central California and Norwalk Auto Auction
 
Highest Commercial Volume: Manheim Pennsylvania and Greensboro Auto Auction
 
Highest Dealer Volume: Manheim Pennsylvania and Akron Auto Auction
 
Highest Year-Over-Year Growth: Manheim Tucson and America’s Auto Auction Jacksonville

Commenting on receiving an award for Highest Commercial Volume, Jerry Barker, general manager at Greensboro Auto Auction, said, “We are honored to receive this award. Highlighting the site in more detail, it offers users 60,000 wholesale vehicles, officials noted.

Moreover , Manheim’s digital products, available on OVE.com, allow buyers and sellers to research, bid and buy any auction’s vehicles anytime and anywhere from Manheim’s digital channels.

These include Manheim.com, the mobile website, the Manheim app and OVE.com.

“More than 85,000 customers log into Manheim web sites each week, and nearly 70 percent of them use PowerSearch to find the inventory they need,” the company concluded.
