DETROIT -

GM Remarketing revealed to Auto Remarketing on Tuesday the winners of its 2011 GM Sponsored Auction Regional Operational Awards for the fourth quarter, and three of the five regional recipients were ADESA auctions.

Explaining the program in more detail, it awards one auction per region each quarter. To determine the five winners, GM Remarketing examines the following elements of the auctions: vehicle repair and reconditioning, dealers’ purchasing activity, vehicle throughput, sales volumes, as well as percentage of older inventory.
