Just a short time after revamping its website, Automotive Finance Corp. today officially rolled out a mobile app designed to address its dealer customers’ business needs.

Officials highlighted the AFC on the Go mobile app was developed after surveying customers about their mobile computing challenges. AFC’s mobile app is available for immediate download from the Android market, as well as for iPhone users via iTunes.

Since its preliminary introduction a few days ago, AFC insisted its customers already are embracing the new mobile app and are excited about AFC’s recent technology advances that are geared to help them better manage their businesses.

Luchie Wright, of AAA Automotive in Highland, Ind., noted, “Extremely easy app to use since I’m always on the go. And in the car business, you’re always on the go. Great job AFC.”

AFC vice president of strategic initiatives Jay Bahel stressed the company’s goal is to make it easier for dealer customers to do business with AFC.

“We’ve modeled our mobile and website capability under the premise that ‘one site fits all,’ so in addition to putting all the great features from our website at a dealer’s fingertips, we have now also enabled dealers with the ability to transact and report with us through mobile apps – whether it’s an iPhone app, an Android app or any web-enabled smartphone,” Bahel explained.

“The new mobile app is designed to be comprehensive in order to meet our customers’ needs,” he continued. “Using our AFC on the Go mobile app, dealers can see their credit availability with AFC, make payments, floor trade-ins, report what’s on floor plan with AFC, and more.”

In addition to its new mobile application, AFC launched its new website earlier last month in effort to offer even more functionality for customers.

As AFC marks its 25th anniversary, the company plans to continue to roll out new solutions to assist customers along with more celebratory promotions.

AFC is currently giving away free and interest free floor planning for one year, up to $25,000 to one customer.

Earlier this year, one lucky AFC dealer won a trip to the Super Bowl through AFC’s Big Game Giveaway.
