GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — This week, Chase Auto Finance reached loan program agreements with a pair of nameplates — securing arrangements with Fiat and Subaru.

Chase expanded its availability to Fiat dealers after the bank began to offer a new consumer financing program to Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram Truck dealers last month.

Officials explained Chase's arrangement with Chrysler Group to provide retail subvention financing now can allow participating Fiat dealers to provide prime and near-prime customers with low interest rates and other incentives to finance new-vehicle purchases.

"We are excited to expand our offering to Fiat dealers across the country and pleased to support Fiat's successful return to the U.S. market," stated Marc Sheinbaum, chief executive officer for Chase Auto Finance.

"Chase has served Chrysler Group brands for more than two decades and we are committed to helping them increase new car sales by offering more affordable financing options to their customers," Sheinbaum continued.

Meanwhile, Chase Auto Finance and Subaru of America also announced the renewal of their relationship. The companies extended the product of that relationship — Subaru Motors Finance — so Chase can serve as the captive auto finance provider for Subaru in the U.S. for an additional five years.

Chase Auto Finance has been the captive lender for Subaru for more than 10 years through the SMF brand, financing more than 1.1 million Subaru customers.

Officials pointed out an exclusive team at SMF manages the full spectrum of retail, lease and floor plan finance needs with a variety of customized product offerings for more than 600 Subaru dealers nationwide.

"Subaru of America is pleased to announce the extension of our joint financing relationship named Subaru Motors Finance, which services the wholesale, retail and lease financing needs of our dealers and customers," noted Thomas Doll, Subaru's executive vice president and chief operating officer.

"This is the third extension of our contract, which speaks to the strong relationship we have with Chase," Doll added.

Sheinbaum commented on the agreement, saying, "We are proud to have served Subaru and its retail organization for more than a decade and look forward to continuing our strong relationship over the next five years.

"Subaru dealers nationwide will continue to benefit from our products, services and the expertise of our dedicated SMF team," Sheinbaum

As a full-service provider, Chase reiterated that it offers prime to subprime financing, dealer floor plan and commercial banking and treasury services.
