Alfa, provider of Alfa Systems, strengthened its data migration toolbox last week with the launch of Alfa Recon, a new artificial intelligence-enabled reconciliation module.

Designed to help customers migrate legacy data and acquired portfolios to Alfa Systems more quickly, more accurately and with greater confidence, the company highlighted Alfa Recon is designed to bring new intelligence and automation to one of the most critical stages of any systems transformation.

Alfa Recon’s built-in AI assistant analysis migration data can identify trends, highlight problem areas and generate natural-language summaries, enabling teams to resolve issues more quickly and prioritize resources effectively.

Meanwhile, Alfa said managed dashboards can provide real-time visibility of migration progress and quality, while automated KPI reporting can support governance and project sign-off.

Part of Alfa Migration Suite, Alfa Recon can act as a central source of truth from trial migrations through to go-live, providing a robust audit trail while reducing the manual burden traditionally associated with reconciliation.

Alongside Alfa Recon, Alfa’s recent Portfolio Load capability, launched in 2024 as part of Alfa Systems 6, can complement the suite by providing a fast, cost-effective option for less complex onboarding needs, such as acquired portfolios or new Banking-as-a-Service launches.

Using a simple process, customers can load third parties, contracts and assets quickly into production environments.

Together, Alfa Recon, Alfa Migration Suite and Portfolio Load can give customers a comprehensive range of tools to accelerate migration programs, reduce operational risk and realize value from transformation initiatives sooner.

“At Alfa, we build AI that enhances decision making, streamlines processes and empowers people,” said Alex Vinall, who is associate director of solution architecture at Alfa. “Bringing this AI-powered addition into our established migration tooling empowers our customers even more, and we continue to support their evolving needs.”
