Lobel Financial began September by promoting Jeffrey Lobel to vice president of finance, handing him an expanded leadership role to help drive the company’s financial strategy and support key initiatives across finance, treasury, capital markets, portfolio analytics, and long-term business planning.

In this position, the auto-finance company said Lobel will work closely with the chief financial officer and chief investment officer to strengthen financial operations, advance strategic growth initiatives, enhance portfolio performance analysis, and support Lobel’s long-term financial objectives.

Joe Spano, who is the chief financial officer, “Congratulations to Jeffrey Lobel on his promotion to vice president–finance. Jeffrey has an impressive ability to incorporate AI and advanced Excel macros into departmental operations. He has significantly upgraded the technology used across our accounting functions and continually looks for ways to automate and simplify processes that were previously manual. His hard work and dedication are obvious, and his leadership is undeniable.”

Marcus Tarbet, who is the chief investment officer, added, “Jeffrey is a smart, self-driven professional who consistently identifies the most efficient and effective approach to any challenge. He is highly knowledgeable, always willing to help, and brings tremendous value to our organization. This promotion is well deserved, and I am confident he will continue to grow in his new role while contributing to Lobel’s ongoing success.”
