Young people make TikToks regularly. You could say the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association is, too, for its next Buy Here, Pay Here (BHPH) Dealer Forum.

NIADA announced on Thursday that TikTok Automotive principal Ryan Copacia will headline the closing general session of the conference that’s set for Nov. 1-3 in Austin, Texas.

The association highlighted Copacia will give attendees a clear look at why a platform better known for viral dances than sales leads has quietly become one of the most powerful — and underused — tools in the BHPH dealer’s toolbox.

NIADA said Copacia will break down how independent dealers can use TikTok to reach new buyers, build trust in their local markets, and generate leads that convert.

The closing general session caps three days of programming at the BHPH Dealer Forum, where independent dealers gather each year to sharpen their skills in underwriting, collections, compliance and, increasingly, marketing in a rapidly shifting digital landscape.

“This session isn’t just about likes and follows. It’s about equipping our dealers with the tools that are actually driving results today,” NIADA CEO Jeff Martin said. “Ryan’s insight into how TikTok is reshaping lead generation for buy here, pay here dealers is exactly the kind of practical, forward-looking content our members need.”
