ANV Group Holdings closed its acquisition of Open Lending in July and on Thursday installed a leadership team to oversee ANV’s Credit & Protection platform.
The two top executives at Open Lending now are chief executive officer Ross Jessup, who co-founded the business more than two decades ago, and president Massimo “Mass” Monaco.
“Ross and Mass are the right leaders to guide Open Lending through its next phase of growth and value creation,” said Adam Karkowsky, chairman and chief executive officer of ANV.
“Ross’s deep relationships with Open Lending’s employees, customers, and partners, combined with Mass’s operational and financial leadership, create a strong foundation for continued growth and long-term success as part of ANV,” Karkowsky continued in a news release.
Jessup recently served as president and chief operating officer of Open Lending and has remained a strategic advisor to the company since 2022.
Under Jessup’s earlier leadership, Open Lending grew into a leading provider of automotive lending solutions serving hundreds of financial institutions nationwide, earning repeated recognition as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.

“I’m honored to return and lead Open Lending at such an exciting time,” Jessup said. “We have real opportunity ahead, and I look forward to working with Mass and the team to build on what we’ve created.”
Monaco joined Open Lending as chief financial officer in 2025 and brings more than 20 years of experience in finance, operations, and strategic planning. He previously served as CFO of Arc Home and held senior finance leadership roles at PHH Corp. and American Financial Resources.
“Open Lending has a strong platform and talented team,” Monaco said. “I’m excited to partner with Ross as we focus on strengthening our credit solutions, disciplined execution and sustainable growth as part of ANV.”
The executive moves reinforced why ANV added Open Lending to its portfolio. The acquisition expanded ANV’s specialty platform by adding a differentiated lending enablement business that complements its insurance expertise and broader growth strategy.
“We are pleased to welcome Open Lending to ANV,” Karkowsky said in a July news release. “This acquisition advances our strategy of building market-leading, specialty underwriting businesses and further strengthens our insurance-backed credit strategy. Open Lending’s capabilities complement our specialty platform, and we look forward to supporting its continued growth as part of ANV.”
