Artificial intelligence has also entered the end-of-lease portion of automotive.

Lease End, a fintech company involved in the lease-buyout process, on Thursday launched AI Constellation, a proprietary suite of in-house AI agents built to solve operational gaps and serve more drivers.

Designed and developed entirely by Lease End’s in-house technology team, the company highlighted these agentic systems can automate and personalize the entire buyout journey, from lead generation to deal closure

Also, another addition is Arco, a voice-powered sales agent that can guide drivers through financing terms, answer questions, and complete buyouts without human intervention unless requested by the driver.

In early testing, Lease End claimed Arco matched or exceeded top-performing human reps in closing rates, upselling high-value products, and delivering consistent, high-quality service.

“Everything we build starts with the driver. Our AI Constellation has to produce value for both the driver and the business,” Lease End CTO Dave Williams said in a news release.

“We follow two key guidelines for every AI agent we build: it must perform as well as or better than a human, and it must advance our business objectives, typically by driving revenue or improving operating efficiency,” Williams continued. “That way, the process becomes faster, easier, and more transparent, while our team continues to scale without losing the human touch or sacrificing customer service.”

Once a driver submits a completed credit application, Arco can initiate a live call, present approved financing options, explain value-added products like GAP coverage and service contracts, verify details, and even collect documents via text.

In early testing, Lease End said Arco matched or exceeded the performance of Lease End’s top human reps, handling objections, cross-selling key products, and closing transactions, while offering a seamless handoff for those who preferred a human.

“However, most drivers were happy to continue with the AI when it was clear, responsive, and helpful,” Lease End said.

Arco was born from a company hackathon in Heber Valley, Utah, where a two-person development team built the first prototype over the course of a weekend. Within weeks, it was closing deals and consistently outperforming expectations.

Today, despite still being in a limited rollout, Lease End reiterated Arco boasts conversion rates that rival those of top-performing human representatives, delivering both efficiency and consistency.

“This is just the beginning,” said Zander Cook, co-founder and CRO of Lease End. “We see a future where every human advisor has their own team of AI assistants. It’s going to transform how we serve drivers and scale our business.”

Other agents in the AI Constellation include:

—Thunder: An outbound AI agent responsible for over 15% of new business by initiating personalized text conversations that drive qualified leads to the sales team.

—Automatic AI: A self-service lease buyout calculator providing real-time monthly payment estimates based on minimal input.

—Tater Taught: Named for the founder’s grandfather, who helped introduce the world to tater tots, this is an internal AI grader and coach that evaluates both human and AI calls for compliance and performance, while providing live feedback to ensure compliance.

“We’re not building standalone tools,” Cook said. “We’re creating a coordinated AI ecosystem that supports every stage of the customer journey and strengthens our team internally. Every agent is built in-house to deliver measurable results.”
