AutoPayPlus by US Equity Advantage continued its recent string of moves by announcing the appointment of Steven Weir as agency development manager.

In this role, the automated financial concierge service said Weir will be responsible for building and supporting strong agency relationships, driving growth through collaboration and performance, and providing hands-on training to help agency and dealer partners enhance their F&I departments through the effective use of AutoPayPlus.

Weir’s appointment arrived after AutoPayPlus achieved a series of technology, compliance, and organizational advancements, including an integration with Reynolds & Reynolds completion of its first SOC 2 Type I audit.

AutoPayPlus highlighted Weir brings extensive experience in the automotive finance and retail sectors, with a proven track record of helping dealerships and agencies optimize their operations and compliance practices.

Weir is AFIP Certified through the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals, a nationally recognized credential that underscores his deep understanding of federal and state compliance regulations in automotive sales and finance.

In addition, Weir is an active member of the V20 Group, a respected network of automotive retail vendor leaders who collaborate to address industry challenges and promote innovation to better serve dealerships and their customers.
