The Byrider Dealer Board is looking to have potential buyers have the same experience no matter if the buy-here, pay-here store franchisee operates in Indiana, Wisconsin, Florida or Texas.

So, the board recently partnered with RockED to launch Project Excellence, a certification initiative designed to standardize training across 66 Byrider franchisees nationwide, representing more than 90% of franchisee-owned locations.

According to a news release, the program introduces a centralized learning platform to support associate performance and deliver a more consistent customer experience.

The certification initiative, available through the RockED app, was created in partnership with more than 40 Byrider owners across the franchisee network to establish “clear certification pathways for the core Byrider model.”

Byrider dealerships sell and service vehicles while providing BHPH financing through CarNow Acceptance Co. (CNAC).

The program was designed to enhance training and professional development across Byrider dealerships.

Through a unified learning platform and certification pathways, Byrider said its associates can gain access to best practices that “support clear performance expectations.”

RockED CEO Matthias Stoever highlighted that working with Byrider franchisees to create Project Excellence reflects a joint commitment to developing talent and strengthening the dealer network.

“Project Excellence is about giving teams the structure and tools they need to succeed,” Stoever said in the news release. “When associates feel confident in their training, it elevates performance across the entire network.”

Stoever compared the approach to that of top-performing organizations, which treat training as an ongoing discipline that requires regular practice.

“Dealership teams deserve the same approach to mastering their craft, and we’re excited at RockED to partner with Byrider dealerships that share that mindset,” Stoever said.

Upon completion, participants earn the Project Excellence Certification, which validates their mastery of Byrider’s core operational and performance standards.

The initiative is expected to directly impact more than 700 associates nationwide.

“The Byrider Dealer Board is committed to helping every associate reach their maximum potential while creating an exceptional customer experience,” said Jonathan Gandolfo, founder and chairman of Project Excellence. “With RockED’s partnership, Project Excellence was built to make that vision a reality.”
