Canada’s Used Car Week celebrates 20 years

Action from Canada's Used Car Week 2023.
It’s an emerald anniversary for Canada’s Used Car Week. This year’s conference is marking two decades of connecting Canada’s automotive industry.
In honor of our 20th anniversary, we’re rolling out an upgraded, high-impact schedule — designed to maximize value with more connections, insights, and business-building opportunities packed into just two powerful days.
Canada’s Used Car Week is the premier event where the Canadian auto industry comes together to learn, grow, and lead. From retail and remarketing to fleet, auto finance, and leadership development, our expert-led sessions and dynamic networking opportunities offer attendees and exhibitors a one-of-a-kind experience.
That experience includes two leadership luncheons recognizing the respective honorees in the Remarketing’s Under 40 and Women & Automotive Profiles in Leadership programs, two networking receptions, and dozens of workshops, keynotes and panel discussions addressing the most important topics in the Canadian used-car retail, finance and remarketing industries.
Canada’s Used Car Week conference chair Bill Zadeits will also lead a special session on the event’s 20th anniversary, titled “20 Years — A Look Back at the Last Two Decades of the Used Car Industry in Canada.” This panel, which caps off the two-day event, will provide a look back through the last 20 years in the Canadian used car industry, including the biggest moments that have shaped the last two decades and forecast what’s coming next.
A new addition to the lineup at Canada’s Used Car Week this year: six Live Stage sessions in the expo hall.
These sessions will be 20- to 30-minute “fireside chats” with Auto Remarketing Canada senior editor Joe Overby and expert speakers, set up on a small stage in the expo hall positioned so that attendees can mingle through and listen to the conversation in a casual setting.
The conversations will be recorded and distributed as Auto Remarketing Podcast episodes, as well. The Live Stage sessions are as follows:
— “Training the iPad Generation to Sell Cars” with Vivian Liu of Mae – Making Auto Easy
— “Attention: Getting it, Deserving it, Keeping it + Gas or Brake? Navigating Cost Cuts and Growth in Uncertain Times” with Erin Richmond & Rhys Albrecht of sMedia
— “Empowering Women in Automotive: Engaging the Next Generation” with Coralee Zueff of Five Star Service Advisor
— “From Undervalued to Influential: How Women in Automotive Can Lead with Confidence” with Mandy Deveau of DriveHRIS
— “The Blueprint for High-Volume Sales: How to Build a Loyal Customer Pipeline” with Crissy Burton of Hubler Automotive Group + Tianna Mick of Dealer Synergy
— “The Varied Use Cases of AI in Automotive” with Abdullah Baig of Pam, Olivier Vincent of Zen AI Studio and Dave Perry of BLiNK AI Automotive
