There’s a new look on Canada’s open road.
OpenRoad Auto Group has unveiled a new brand identity — OpenRoad Auto — which the dealership group said comes with updated mission and vision statements that reflect its evolution and “commitment to shaping the future of automotive retail.”
In a news release, OpenRoad Auto said the new simplified brand celebrates 25 years of growth and innovation with a “sharpened focus on creating a forward-thinking automotive experience” for customers, staff and communities.
“OpenRoad Auto represents both our origins and our future,” CEO Christian Chia said. “Our new identity honors the relationships and trust we’ve built over the past 25 years, while positioning us to grow further as a company.”
OpenRoad Auto said its new brand values are humility, integrity, inventiveness and care, which “serve as the guiding foundation for each interaction and decision made across the organization.”
The values were chosen to reflect the company’s commitment to doing what’s right, staying curious in searching for a better way and fostering trusted relationships.
The company also introduced new mission and vision statement, with a mission to “Drive possibilities with trusted relationships and a better automotive experience,” and a vision to “Drive possibilities for everyone in our communities.”

The company began in 1978 with one location in Richmond, B.C., and took the name OpenRoad Auto Group in 2000 with two dealerships. The group, still based in Richmond, now operates 29 dealership locations and seven collision centers in British Columbia and Ontario.
“This milestone is about more than a name and logo change,” Chia said. “It’s about defining who we are today and the possibilities we’re creating for the future. It’s also a recommitment to our customers, our employees and our communities, that humility, integrity, inventiveness and care will always be at the heart of everything we do.”

HGreg was among 25 Canadian companies honored for exemplary customer service, employee engagement and workplace innovation. HGreg was recognized for its ongoing efforts to redefine the automotive experience for its customers and employees.
“It’s a celebration of our teams’ commitment to innovation and excellence, as well as the trust we have earned from customers across Canada,” HGreg president John Hairabedian said.
Ontario Ford Dealers partners with Royal Agricultural Winter Fair
Ontario Ford Dealers is now a foundational partner and the official automotive of The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, thanks to a new three-year partnership agreement.
In a news release, The Royal said the collaboration reinforces a shared commitment to hard work, community, innovation and the enduring bond between agriculture and automotive.
“The Royal and Ontario Ford Dealers have been synonymous with Canadian families for many years,” The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair CEO Cyrus Cooper said. “This partnership reflects our shared dedication to excellence, tradition and community — and a forward-looking spirit of innovation.”
As part of the deal, Ford will continue its role as presenting sponsor of The Royal Rodeo, working to maintain the rodeo as a marquee attraction and a “dynamic celebration” of rural sport and culture.
“For generations, the Royal has brought together farmers, families and communities to celebrate agriculture, innovation, tradition and values that Ford dealers across Ontario share,” Ontario Ford Dealers chairperson Nathan Brown said. “This year is especially meaningful, with the Ford F-Series on track to be Canada’s best-selling line of pickup trucks for an incredible 60 consecutive years. That milestone wouldn’t be possible without the trust of Canadians, especially the agricultural community, who count on their trucks every day, making The Royal the perfect place to celebrate.”
