Electric vehicle maker Fisker is ramping up its North American executive team, adding leaders in its Canadian and U.S. operations.

Wolfgang Hoffmann is the new country manager for Canada, and Amira Aly has joined as vice president of sales, for the U.S.

“I am excited that two seasoned automotive professionals have chosen to help Fisker get to the next level of our expansion,” chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker said in a press release. “North America is our largest overall market, and I am looking forward to working with Wolfgang and Amira to chart an aggressive sales path in both Canada and the U.S.”

Hoffmann was most recently the president of Jaguar Land Rover in Canada for seven years, also spending many years with Audi before that appointment. According to the press release announcing the hires, Hoffman has already put together a team who will oversee Canada deliveries for the Fisker Ocean SUV.

Aly, on the U.S. side, most recently served as senior director and head of sales in North America for Lucid Motors, and also previously held roles at JPM Chase, where she worked with automakers, including Aston Martin and Jaguar Land Rover.

At Fisker, she will be scaling and speeding up the delivery of the Fisker Ocean in the U.S.

Hoffmann and Aly will report to Dawn Ahmed, senior VP, global marketing, sales and service, according to Fisker.
