Marsim opens $30M new home for Hyundai, Genesis dealerships

Marsim Auto Group has opened a new home for two of its three dealerships.
The Toronto dealership group Thursday unveiled the new 40,000-square-foot facility of Toronto Hyundai and Genesis Yorkdale. In a news release, Marsim said the $30 million development, built on a site left underutilized for more than 50 years, “ushers in a new era of customer-focused automotive retail, breathing new life into the [and] stimulating economic growth, job creation and public infrastructure improvements.”
The new space features a two-level service department with 24 bays for increased service capabilities.
The company said it expects a strong performance from the dealerships, which it said were already breaking performance records before the new facility’s doors opened.
“The grand opening of Toronto Hyundai and Genesis Yorkdale is truly a dream come true,” Marsim Auto Group founder and president Benny Leung said. “These flagship facilities represent years of hard work, vision and dedication from our entire team. They embody our commitment to innovation, customer care and creating spaces that reflect the future of automotive retail.

Leung, a past president of the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association, said he is particularly impressed with Genesis Yorkdale, calling it “a milestone in luxury and personalized service.”
Genesis Canada director Eric Marshall praised Leung and the facility.
