VANCOUVER, B.C. -

Mike Hacquard of Wolfe Auto Group and the late Gordon Wolfe founded the Subaru dealership Wolfe Subaru on Boundary in 2014, and the dealership’s many awards include the 2019 DealerRater Consumer Satisfaction Award.

On Jan. 22, OpenRoad Auto Group announced it acquired Wolfe Subaru on Boundary, describing the company as “a highly trusted dealership for Subaru sales and service.”

The company, which says it is British Columbia’s largest auto dealership group, also said that as of Jan. 22, it was renaming Wolfe Subaru on Boundary as OpenRoad Subaru – Boundary.

OpenRoad said the dealership, located at 1325 Boundary Road in Vancouver, is a family-run business known for being centrally located with a large selection of new and used vehicles and a full-service maintenance and repair shop.

Much of the Wolfe Subaru staff will remain employed by OpenRoad under the new leadership of general manager Danny Xi and area general manager Brad Beckett.

The company also said all OpenRoad Subaru customers will have access to the Club OpenRoad loyalty program.

That program offers perks and rewards such as points redemption up to $2,500 off a new car purchase.

In addition, OpenRoad said the future looks bright for the Subaru brand in Metro Vancouver.

An established, loyal customer base and growing popularity of models like the Subaru Forester, Outback, Crosstrek and Ascent has resulted in strong growth of Subaru sales in the region, according to Subaru Canada, and OpenRoad added that the automaker is known for its brand promise, “Confidence in Motion.”

The promise means that Subaru owners can be assured of a quality product with strong levels of innovation, engineering, safety, capability and reliability.
