Otolane adds Click-Ins’ AI inspection technology to its auction platform

A new partnership is putting artificial intelligence-powered inspections into Otolane’s auction platform.
The Canadian digital wholesale auto auction has partnered with U.S.-based inspection technology provider Click-Ins, integrating its AI visual intelligence tech directly into the Otolane’s platform. The companies said the collaboration enables dealers to conduct more thorough, consistent and accurate vehicle inspections before listing vehicles for wholesale trade.
“This partnership with Otolane represents a significant milestone in our mission to bring advanced inspection technology to the international automotive wholesale market,” Click-Ins CEO Josh Parsons said. “By combining our AI-powered inspection solutions with Otolane’s established marketplace, we’re creating a more transparent environment where Canadian dealers can now trade with greater confidence and efficiency.”
Otolane’s online marketplace is designed to allow dealers to wholesale vehicles instantly by listing them to its marketplace through real-time live auctions. With Click-Ins’ technology, listings will now include AI-generated damage reports to support more informed purchasing decisions.

The partnership includes automated damage detection and classification through AI-powered image analysis, a streamlined inspection process requiring only smartphone photos and more accurate and objective pre-sale damage documentation, which the companies said will result in fewer post-sale disputes increased buyer confidence and greater transparency, leading to more successful transactions.
