E-signature solutions company Syngrafii is working to ramp up its identity verification capabilities and provide their customers more ease in the process through a new partnership with Trulioo identify document verification.

Trulioo’s identity document verification tool is now integrated into Syngrafii’s linked sign and video signing room platform.

The two companies said in a press release that the integration works to enable virtual confirmation of signatories’ identities in one platform. This will work to increase trust and confidence in the signing process, rather than visiting two standalone e-signature and identity verification processes pages.

It’s expected to create a heightened level of assurance in the authenticity of online signatures on Syngrafii’s platform.

“We are very pleased to enhance the capabilities of Linked Sign to further position it as the premier e-signature platform in terms of non-repudiation of transactions and fraud mitigation,” said Matthew Gibson, CEO of Syngrafii, in a press release. “Working with Trulioo enables us to serve our core markets in Canada and the United States while supporting our international growth.”

The integration of linked IDV also addresses changing requirements from regulatory bodies, law societies, bar associations and more.

The integration is compliant with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Digital Identification and Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC) protocols.

“At Trulioo, we are on a journey to create the world’s identity platform, powering leading digital capabilities to establish trust and safety for individuals and businesses across the globe,” said Steve Munford, Trulioo CEO, in the press release. “As part of this strategic collaboration with Syngrafii, we not only enhance the identity verification process but also make significant strides toward a more secure and trustworthy digital signing experience for its customers.”
