This week, the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association added eBay Motors as its newest member benefit partner.

The move comes when the company is introducing Secure Purchase for Dealers by eBay Motors.

Designed specifically for independent dealerships, Secure Purchase for Dealers is an all-new digital platform that’s designed for access to competitive financing offers from top national lenders and simplify out-of-state transactions.

NIADA highlighted eBay now gives dealers who are also members of the association access to Secure Purchase for Dealers, along with a package of member-only offers:

—Unlimited eBay classified listings for your used inventory with active use of Secure Purchase for Dealers ($1,000 monthly value)

—A $150 credit on each of your first three deals processed through Secure Purchase for Dealers ($450 value)

—Free registration to NIADA’s annual convention & expo ($500-plus value if you’re a verified account holder)

Clayton Stanfield, who oversees dealer training and activation for eBay Motors, said in a post by NIADA, “eBay believes the country’s largest annual independent auto dealer convention is a key success driver for attending dealers. We want to support NIADA and its dealer members and put our digital tools and capabilities into their hands to help them win.”

NIADA mentioned eBay Motors joins five other member benefit partners that cover:

—Inventory acquisition and reconditioning: AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts Pro, ALLDATA)

—Managing customer relationships: AutoRaptor

—Handling titles and registration: AutoDataDirect

NIADA chief executive officer Jeff Martin calculated that if members use four of the six service providers, dealers are realistically saving more money in a single quarter than what it costs to have an NIADA membership for the entire year.

“We are excited about the benefits our members can access and are committed to adding more member benefits soon. All our partners give independent dealers a chance to do more with less, improving their bottom line and creating more value for membership,” Martin said.
