HERNDON, Va. –
This week, Volkswagen Group of America tapped Christian Dahlheim to be the new president and chief executive officer of VW Credit.
Dahlheim takes the place of Andrew Stuart, who left the captive finance company earlier this summer to be the head of U.S. operations at TD Auto Finance.
The automaker highlighted Dahlheim now will oversee all functions of VW Credit, the captive finance company which services Volkswagen, Audi and Ducati customers, authorized dealers and their affiliated stores as Volkswagen Credit and Audi Financial Services.
Dahlheim takes on this position with more than 18 years of finance and leadership experience, most recently serving as executive vice president and chief financial officer for VW Credit, Inc.
Dahlheim joined Volkswagen Financial Services AG in 2005.
Prior to his current role, Dahlheim was the regional manager for Europe and other international markets, and held various positions of increased responsibilities in the fields of engineering, consulting, financial services and automotive.
