LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — DealerTrack announced this week that the number of active financing sources connected to its platform has hit 425, an increase of 39 percent since the end of 2006.

"We are excited to reach this milestone," said Mark O'Neil, chairman and chief executive officer of DealerTrack.
"In just over six weeks, we have added another 25 financing sources, a real testament to the power of the DealerTrack network. Dealers are encouraging all of their lenders to join the DealerTrack network because of the efficiencies and convenience it provides, and lenders clearly are responding," he continued.

In other recent news, DealerTrack announced it will have executives on hand at the upcoming National Remarketing Conference Oct. 24 to 26, at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas.

When dealers properly stock their inventory to meet demand, vehicles tend to sell faster. The faster dealers turn units, the quicker replacements are needed, which ultimately helps remarketers improve their bottom line.
The DealerTrack executives Robert Granados and Mike Waterman plan to share tips and advice on how remarketers can better market to dealers and help these clients better take advantage of the latest advances in inventory management.

The session is titled "Evolution of Inventory Management" and will discuss how enhancements to inventory management technologies have helped dealers embrace inventory management, realize the efficiencies and partner with remarketers.

DealerTrack executives will discuss how remarketers can leverage this growing marketing opportunity to improve their bottom line.

Additionally, the Used Car Manager Fall Training Conference will run all day on Tuesday, Oct. 23, and the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Stocked full of top trainers and valuable information applicable to dealership managers, the Used Car Manager Fall Training Conference will arm general managers, used-car managers, Internet managers and more with immediate takeaways and improvements for their used car operation.
