LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Military Assistance Co. announced that it completed the first major Web site update since its initial launch in the fall of 1999.

According to officials, the primary objectives of this site revamp included improving user experience, enhancing operating efficiency and boosting security measures.

Developers and planners spent the better part of a year building and testing the new site to ensure that goals were met while continuing to maintain the highest level of customer service, the company pointed out.

The Web site boasts a new, easy-to-use layout with updated colors and graphics designed to be "easy on the eyes."

Moreover, it was designed so it's easier for clients and customers to find their section of the site and get the job done with fewer clicks, executives highlighted. Additional functionality was also added to both the customer and client pages.

Real-time integration between the Web and MAC's operating system was introduced with the launch of the new site. This provides customers with more up-to-date account information and allows online transactions to be processed instantly, officials explained.

Finally, the redesigned site continues to provide customers with easy access to information, while maintaining the most up-to-date security measures available, according to the company.

Since 1985 MAC has been providing military allotment repayment solutions for lenders, Service members and Federal civil service employees.

MAC provides custom posting files and reports to lenders, which can allow quick and accurate posting of all allotment payments. MAC said it currently processes $2 billion annually for more than 700 clients, which include some of the nation's top automotive and personal lenders.
