NAF Association to Repeat First Module of Compliance Certification Program
Because leadership had to literally "turn people away at the door" last month, the first module of the National Automotive Finance Association's Consumer Credit Compliance Certification Program will be repeated.
NAF Association officials said today that the first module will be available on May 28 and 29 in Fort Worth, Texas, running concurrently with part of the annual Non-Prime Auto Financing Conference.
After the day and a half of classroom style learning, participants will complete an online test before moving into the 26 Web-based sessions covering federal and state laws and regulations that affect the auto financing business.
Successful testing throughout the program is necessary before progressing in the program. The certification is awarded upon completion of module four, a live classroom session covering the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.
"The NAF Association is again delivering a quality service to its membership and the auto finance industry. We are proud that the Association is able to offer such an in-depth program to assist those within the industry in conforming to federal and state compliance requirements," NAF Association executive director Jack Tracey.
This program will be available to compliance staff of NAF Association member companies at the price of $2,000 and non-member companies at $2,600.
Certification participants may register for the remainder of the conference at the reduced rate $295.
