NCC, a leading provider of integrated credit, compliance, desking, and fraud prevention solutions for automotive retailing, announced the launch of Consumer Document Exchange.
Along with a claim of potentially saving a store more than $100,000 annually, the company highlighted the solution can give dealerships a compliant, secure, mobile-friendly way to request, send, sign, and collect regulatory and non-regulatory customer documents easily and remotely.
NCC said all documentation exists in one connected workflow, reducing paperwork and enabling sales teams to close deals faster while keeping customer data secure.
Consumer Document Exchange is embedded directly within NCC’s Complete Credit platform, modernizing document collection and verification by replacing manual processes with a seamless, mobile-first workflow that allows credit applications to begin remotely, continue in-store, and progress without interruption.
“The platform gives dealerships full visibility and control over every document exchange while removing friction at every stage of the buying journey,” NCC said, adding that other key capabilities include:
—Secure document collection, eSignatures, and out-of-wallet (OOW) verification via mobile phone

NCC president and CEO Brian Skutta explained dealerships can now spend less time chasing paperwork and more time closing deals by securely collecting documents and verifying customer identity.
Skutta added customers upload IDs, proof of income, insurance, and other documents from their mobile device, and all files automatically attach to the customer record, keeping sensitive data out of inboxes and text messages to ensure complete compliance.
“Consumer Document Exchange represents a significant advancement in how dealerships manage the document collection and signing process,” Skutta said in a news release. “Today’s car buyers expect the convenience of completing deals on their own time and from any device. This solution delivers that modern experience while actually reducing workload for dealership staff and ensuring every interaction is tracked, secure, and compliant.”
Consumer Document Exchange is now available to all NCC customers utilizing Complete Credit. The company said dealers can save more than $100,000 annually by eliminating manual tasks, delays, and duplicate entry effort.
“By replacing emails, scanning, and manual follow-ups with trackable checklists for both staff and customers, Consumer Document Exchange provides real-time visibility into deal progress while reducing errors, delays, and duplicate data entry,” the company said.
“Car buying doesn’t stop when customers leave the showroom,” NCC continued. “Consumer Document Exchange enables dealerships to send disclosures, document requests, Out-of-Wallet verification, and deal paperwork that can be completed anywhere on any device. This reduces stalled deals, speeds up delivery, and gives customers a smoother buying experience.”
