On Wednesday, PAR — OPENLANE’s business unit that oversees asset recoveries, manages cycle times, maximizes returns and reduces risk for banks, captives, credit unions and other auto finance companies — announced the promotion of Jeff Williams to senior director of sales and client relations.

In this position, the company said Williams will lead a team of industry sales professionals servicing clients across the country. Williams also joins PAR’s management team and will report to PAR chief operating officer Jessie Herdrich Irwin.

“Jeff brings decades of experience building meaningful relationships that deliver results for customers,” Herdrich Irwin said in a news release. “His tenure with PAR provides a strong foundation and launchpad for leading a team dedicated to connecting our customers with the right solutions at the right time to power success.”

Williams, who joined PAR in 2020, will focus on deepening customer relationships to match clients with the best solutions for their unique needs.

From communicating PAR’s product roadmap to dialoguing with clients about their feedback and pain points, the company said Williams will strengthen client rapport while helping foster a culture of innovation anchored in customer service.

“I am thrilled to build on PAR’s industry-leading customer experience to deliver powerful solutions for our clients,” Williams said. “We have a fantastic sales team devoted to delivering the very best outcomes for our customers, and I look forward to collaborating with them and further upping our game.”

Prior to joining PAR, Williams served in sales and operations roles of progressive leadership and responsibility at companies including BRP, American Honda Finance Corporation and Bank of America.

Williams brings more than 30 years of experience, leadership, team building and relationship management skills to his new role.
