OPENLANE subsidiary PAR has a new vice president — someone familiar to the repossession and recovery industries.

Coming aboard with three decades of experience spanning corporate operations, law enforcement, and compliance management is Dave Baker, who will serve as the executive leader of PAR, with oversight of all sales, operations, compliance, remarketing, titles, industry relationships and other functions.

“I’m honored to join PAR and contribute to its continued growth and leadership in the automotive recovery space,” Baker said in a news release. “I look forward to building on PAR’s stellar reputation as an industry leader and collaborating with our talented team to drive innovation, efficiency and value for our clients.”

Baker most recently served as chief operating officer at American Recovery Service (ARS), where he led company-wide operations, vendor relations, compliance, and remarketing initiatives.

Before transitioning into the corporate sector, Baker served as chief of police for the city of Marysville, Calif., where he led all law enforcement operations and implemented progressive policies to improve community engagement and departmental performance.

“His combined public safety and corporate leadership background uniquely positions him to strengthen PAR’s operational integrity and client confidence,” the company said.

“PAR is a trusted leader in nationwide recovery management solutions, providing lenders with transparent, compliant, and efficient services across the asset recovery lifecycle,” the company continued. “As part of OPENLANE’s family of companies, PAR leverages advanced technology and deep industry expertise to streamline recovery and remarketing operations for financial institutions nationwide.”
