Along with making donations to local food banks and pantries in the Feeding America network, Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., added to its stable of legal professionals at its Chicago office.

This month, the firm welcomed five new attorneys: Tresina Dickens, Cristopher Nolan, Justin Haddad, Cory Hildebrandt and Elliott Wall.

The new hires and philanthropy came as Weltman, Weinberg & Reis approaches a century of operations as a full-service creditors’ rights law firm.

“As we continue our 95th anniversary celebration and head into the season of gratitude, we are pleased to share that Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA is donating $15,000 to local food banks and pantries in the Feeding America network. This contribution reflects our long-standing commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work across our five states and eight offices,” managing partner Chuck Pona said.

“November is a time centered around family, togetherness, and sharing a meal. It is also an important reminder that many families across the country face food insecurity, especially during the holiday season, when pressures are high and resources can run thin. By partnering with organizations within the Feeding America network, we are helping provide meals, resources, and support to families who need it most,” Pona continued.

“As a firm, giving back is part of who we are. Supporting these local food banks is a meaningful way to honor our history, acknowledge those who have helped us reach our current position, and take purposeful steps toward strengthening the communities we proudly serve,” he went on to say.

“As we wrap up this milestone year for Weltman and look toward the future, we hope this announcement brings a bit of holiday cheer and serves as a reminder of the meaningful impact we can have together,” Pona added.

The firm also is looking for its five new attorneys in the Windy City to make an impact, too. Here are the reactions from the five attorneys shared by the firm:

“My time at Weltman has been inspiring and educational,” Dickens said. “Every day brings new opportunities to grow, contribute, and better serve our clients with the support of a team committed to excellence and collaboration. I have learned so much in such a short time, and I am excited to continue growing with the firm while helping deliver the best possible results for our clients.”

“I like to treat people the way I would want to be treated,” Nolan said. “I’m happy to be able to work alongside so many great attorneys who can protect their clients’ interests without losing sight of the people involved.”

“Joining Weltman allows me to continue practicing law in a way that puts people first, helping clients feel supported, understood, and confident every step of the way,” Haddad said. “I’m excited to be part of a team that shares my commitment to empathy, diligence, and meaningful results.”

“I’m excited to join a team that understands the business realities behind real estate default and financial enforcement matters,” Hildebrandt said. “Weltman’s collaborative environment and commitment to practical, results-driven solutions make it the right place to continue growing my practice.”

“I’m excited to join Weltman’s real estate default group, where I can apply my litigation experience to help clients navigate complex matters efficiently and effectively,” Wall said. “Being part of a team that values practical solutions and client-focused advocacy makes this an ideal next step in my career.”

Shareholder and Chicago office managing attorney Casey Hicks also had flattering comments about four of the attorneys.

About Dickens: “We are thrilled to have Tresina join our team. Her passion and dedication to her work has already made a positive impact for our clients.”
