Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., a full-service creditors’ rights law firm with more than 95 years of client service, recently announced the addition of attorney Sofia Tamimi to the firm’s Philadelphia office.
The firm highlighted Tamimi brings “a unique blend of empathy, determination, and practical expertise” to her work as an attorney in the collections industry. Her path to the legal profession was inspired by her studies in forensic psychology at Drexel University, where the intersection of law and psychology sparked her career ambitions.
“The Philadelphia office has added a great member to the team with Sofia joining our office,” Philadelphia office managing attorney Cameron Deane said in a news release. “She brings in valuable experience outside of our industry to offer our clients and our team members a fresh perspective. She has already hit the ground running and shown a tremendous aptitude for complex litigation and achieving resolutions that are in our client’s best interest.
“We are excited to see Sofia continue developing into a skilled and effective attorney for the firm,” Deane continued.
Tamimi added, “I’m grateful for the opportunity to work alongside and learn from the incredible team in the Philadelphia office. I’m looking forward to continuing to enhance my legal skills in this supportive environment and serve our clients in the best way possible.”
Weltman, Weinberg & Reis will be represented again during Used Car Week, which runs from Nov. 17-20 at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas.
Shareholder Amy Clum Holbrook and attorney Stefanie Collier will host a workshop titled, “Navigating Repossessions in Sensitive and Remote Situations: Deceased Accounts, Tribal Lands, & More.”
