Continuing the positive momentum cultivated for much of the year, Recovery Industry Services Co. (RISC) recently announced that Flying A has joined its network of forwarder partners for vehicle repossessions.

RISC highlighted the agreement brings independent vendor vetting, site inspections, background checks, and education certification to Flying A’s existing compliance program.

Under the agreement, RISC will apply its independent oversight framework to Flying A’s agent network, giving the company a “consistent, independent third-party standard for reviewing the repossession agent network it works with.”

The arrangement also provides oversight for Flying A “adding visibility where lenders increasingly expect it.”

Jim Snead is president of Flying A Information Resources.

“We are excited to elevate our compliance practices with the best in the industry, RISC.  Our partnership demonstrates our commitment to our lender clients that compliance is a top priority for our company,” Snead said in a news release from RISC.

RISC president Holly Balogh said, “Flying A’s leadership identified that it needed reliable third-party independent verification from a trusted partner in the industry.

“With our growing network of compliance-focused clients, RISC was perfectly positioned to support Flying A’s extensive agent network,” added Balogh, who is among the executives set to appear during Used Car Week that begins on Nov. 16 in San Diego.
