The Tim Lamb Group has added Canadian auto industry veteran Paul Gilroy as a director, responsible for leading franchised dealership mergers and acquisitions throughout Canada.

The dealership M&A firm said in a news release Gilroy’s expertise includes dealership sales and valuations, facilitating buy/sell transactions and the development and renovation of auto retail facilities.

The Ontario native has been working in automotive for more than 30 years in both retail and wholesale operations. His resume includes several senior executive roles with Mercedes-Benz Canada, overseeing various areas including pre-owned, fleet, network, corporate retail, training and real estate.

His time with Mercedes included five years as managing partner of Mercedes-Benz Newmarket, Tim Lamb Group said he turned a marginally performing operation into one of the nation’s top-performing stores, with strong results in profitability, customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
