HGreg has again put its money where its mouth is.
The Québec-based dealership group, which operates 49 locations in Canada and the U.S., donated $55,000 to the 38th Enfant Soleil Telethon, held Saturday.
Enfant Soleil is a nonprofit that raises funds to support the development of quality pediatrics for sick children in Québec. HGreg, a certified Enfant Soleil company that has partnered with the organization for more than a decade, said the donation is part of its pledge to expand its fundraising efforts.
“At HGreg, we believe a company’s success goes hand in hand with its commitment to the community,” vice-president of marketing Harry Kasparian said. “Supporting Enfant Soleil is a concrete way of expressing our values of mutual aid, humanity and commitment.
“This cause unites our employees, customers and management around a common goal: to contribute to a healthier future for Québec’s children.”
Since 2022, HGreg has been supporting Enfant Soleil as an official transporter, providing a vehicle to facilitate travel for sick children and their families. The company said that initiative is a complement to the numerous employees involved in the payroll donation program.
HGreg said its annual “Un commentaire, un don” social media campaign contributed to the company’s initiative, raising awareness among more than 60,000 people and raising nearly $5,000.
