HGreg has branched out from its Québec roots to establish a strong presence in the U.S., but its latest expansion is right back at home.

The dealership group has acquired Toyota Park Avenue and Honda Park Avenue on Montreal’s South Shore from Groupe Park Avenue, a strategic move president and CEO John Hairabedian said aligns perfectly with its vision for sustained growth throughout Québec.

“This acquisition represents an important step forward in our commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience while continuing to grow and invest right here at home, in Québec’s key markets,” he said. “It also demonstrates our commitment to building lasting relationships with our customers, partners and teams in an automotive landscape that is rapidly evolving.”

With the new additions, HGreg operates 49 dealerships, 34 of them in Québec.

Honda Park Avenue opened in 1986, and Toyota Park Avenue was founded in 1987.

“Our goal is to uphold the tradition of excellence these dealerships have built while introducing the culture of innovation and service that sets HGreg apart,” said Sébastien Boisvert, operating partner of the stores.

Groupe Park Avenue president and CEO Norman John Hébert said the dealership’s customers can “expect the same level of service and a sustained commitment to their needs” under the new ownership.

Groupe Park Avenue, founded in 1959 by Hébert’s grandfather, Norman D. Hébert Sr., continues to operate 12 locations in Québec.
