Kot Auto Group announced the grand opening of Victoria Hyundai’s new facility in Langford, B.C., billed as the largest Hyundai facility in Canada at more than 75,000 square feet and featuring an underground garage with capacity for 170 vehicles.

The Kelowna, B.C.-based group, which operates 11 dealerships in the province, has also launched an adjacent new facility for Hyundai’s luxury brand, Genesis. While the Hyundai store has relocated from its longtime home in downtown Victoria, Victoria Genesis is a new standalone dealership.

Both buildings opened April 1.

Meanwhile, in Saskatchewan, Dilawri opened a new 6,000-square-foot, two-story building for Genesis Regina, designed using the “elevated” Genesis Retail Experience to reflect the brand’s design philosophy and “commitment to progressive luxury,” the dealership group said.

In October, Dilawri unveiled the Genesis Retail Experience with the opening of Genesis Downtown Vancouver, B.C.’s first facility built to that design standard and the province’s first standalone Genesis dealership.

In a news release, Kot said its new facilities’ location was selected to streamline service operations and accommodate growing demand on Vancouver Island. The Hyundai store’s service department features an express lane the company said is “one of a kind,” designed for speed and convenience so customers with all vehicle makes and models can get in, get serviced and get back on the road fast.

Victoria Genesis, Kot said, offers a premium buying and ownership experience, showcasing the brand’s lineup of luxury vehicles and their design, performance and innovation.

“Our team is incredibly proud to bring this vision to life,” Kot Auto Group president John Kot said. “This new facility reflects our ongoing commitment to our customers and community, offering an elevated automotive experience with cutting-edge amenities and expanded capacity.”

After five years at its previous location, Genesis Regina moves into a new home that Dilawri said “represents the next step in the brand’s evolution, offering a premium environment centered on craftsmanship, innovation and hospitality” that will enhance the guest experience while supporting the brand’s expanding product lineup.

“The grand opening of the new Genesis Regina facility introduces a space that truly embodies the Genesis luxury experience,” Dilawri co-founder Ajay Dilawri said. “Through thoughtful architecture, exceptional service and refined hospitality, this new facility reflects the sophistication of the Genesis brand and the expectations of the guests we proudly serve.”

Dilawri, which claims the title of Canada’s largest automotive group with 85 locations in Canada and the U.S., said its new Genesis Regina facility includes a three-vehicle showroom, a dedicated service drive and a new-vehicle delivery room equipped with a Level 2 electric vehicle charger.

There’s also an exterior dual-port DC fast charger available for guest use.

The interior includes a contemporary lounge environment inspired by the Genesis design language, with a vaulted canopy and a living “green wall” designed to reflect the Genesis philosophy of innovation, sustainability and human-centered design.

The store also offers the full suite of Genesis at Home — the brand’s concierge service that includes at-home test drives, vehicle delivery, service valet and end-to-end online transactions.

“This new experience represents an exciting evolution for our team and for the Regina region,” Genesis Regina general manager Kevin Farebrothern said. “We have always been committed to providing a seamless, guest-centered experience, and this new facility allows us to continue delivering on that promise in a space that truly captures the spirit of the Genesis brand.”
