Informed continued to modify its executive team this week by naming its senior vice president of AI.
Joining the company with an artificial intelligence-powered platform that can help lenders verify applications, detect fraud, and accelerate loan funding across auto, consumer lending and more is Michael Misiewicz.
“Michael’s background is a perfect match for where Informed is headed,” said Informed CEO Daniel Sogorka, who took over on the last day of August.
“He’s spent his career building AI systems that hold up in adversarial, high-stakes environments, exactly the kind of thinking fraud detection demands. As we grow our Fraud Data Network into new verticals, his depth in fraud and document intelligence gives us a real edge. We’re thrilled to have him on the team,” Sogorka continued in a news release.
As Sogorka mentioned, Misiewicz’s appointment comes as Informed prepares to convene its first client advisory board and continues to grow its Fraud Data Network into adjacent lending verticals, a network effect that can benefit every lender on the platform, including the auto lenders who have partnered with Informed since it started.
Misiewicz will lead Informed’s AI and machine learning strategy, deepening the technology behind the company’s fraud detection and document intelligence capabilities as it extends its fraud detection network into adjacent lending verticals, adding data that strengthens fraud detection for its founding auto lending client base as well.

Misiewicz brings 15 years of experience building fraud detection, document intelligence, and optimization systems for adversarial contexts. He joins Informed after leading AI and ML at Yext and anti-fraud research at AppNexus.
“What drew me to Informed is the culture, the team is extremely analytical and quantitative, and everyone cares deeply about getting the problem right,” Misiewicz said in the news release. “Anti-fraud has always been the work I find most fulfilling, and the problems Informed solves for lenders are the same ones I’ve spent my career on.
“We’re in the middle of real AI diffusion across industries, and as agentic AI grows more capable, so do the adversaries using it, which makes this an especially interesting time to lead the work,” he went on to say.
