Another Northwood student receives $10,000 scholarship from Cox Automotive & NIADA Foundation

Cox Automotive announced that Mallorie Hollenbeck, a student at Northwood University in Midland, Mich., has been named this year’s recipient of the $10,000 National Independent Automobile Dealers Association Foundation Northwood University Scholarship.
The annual scholarship, given during this week’s NIADA Convention & Expo in Denver and supported by Cox Automotive in collaboration with Manheim and NextGear Capital, recognizes outstanding students pursuing careers in the automotive industry, with a focus on leadership, academic achievement and hands-on experience.
Hollenbeck is pursuing a degree in automotive marketing and management at Northwood. She has gained professional experience with Dow Chemical and Garber Chevrolet, where she supported service business development operations, while maintaining strong academic performance.
In addition to her academic and professional accomplishments, Hollenbeck has demonstrated leadership through Northwood’s experiential learning programs. She served on the Student Run Auto Show Chevy Team in 2025 and was selected as team captain this year, reflecting her leadership skills and the respect she has earned from faculty and peers.
