WALTHAM, Mass. -

DealerRater reviews and ratings are now being integrated with Kelley Blue Book’s newly enhanced new-car shopping experience.

In making the recent announcement, DealerRater said KBB’s new-car online shopping experience, featuring car-pricing tool Price Advisor, helps create a more qualified consumer through pricing education, as well in-depth information about car dealerships.

Price Advisor enables dealers to display DealerRater reviews and ratings to help consumers evaluate, connect and transact with confidence, the company said.

“The integration of DealerRater ratings and reviews within the Kelley Blue Book product set reinforces our leadership position in the automotive review space, the quality and quantity of our content, as well as how impactful dealer reviews are in the car buying process,” said Chip Grueter, president at DealerRater.

“It is more important and beneficial than ever for dealers to focus on generating reviews on DealerRater and becoming a DealerRater Certified Dealer,” he added.

While all DealerRater dealers have the ability to display their DealerRater reviews on KBB.com, Certified Dealers receive additional benefits including a two-week reconciliation period to privately reconcile negative reviews with an unsatisfied customer, before the review goes live on DealerRater.com and KBB.com.

Benefits to Certified Dealers also include the ability to showcase most-reviewed employees and their photos, and to sort employee-specific reviews, offering greater transparency regarding dealership personnel.

To have their DealerRater reviews and ratings displayed on their Kelley Blue Book Dealer Overview page, dealers should contact their AutoTrader.com representative and provide their DealerRater URL.

All dealers who have DealerRater reviews displayed on KBB.com will also have “Review this Dealership” or “Rate this Dealer” buttons on their Dealer Overview pages on KBB.com, the company said.

These links will be directed to the dealer’s “Write a Review” page on DealerRater.com; when a consumer writes a review, it will be sent through DealerRater’s content review process and fraud filters, subsequently appearing on DealerRater.com as well as KBB.com.
