What prompted/inspired you to join the auto industry and what do you enjoy most about it?

When I first entered the auto industry, I honestly didn’t fully realize how layered and complex it was. It’s a little like peeling back an onion. The more I learned, the more I discovered how many moving parts, relationships, and opportunities there are within the industry. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a genuine passion for the business.

What I enjoy most is that the industry is constantly evolving. There’s always something new to learn, whether it’s technology, customer experience, operations, or market trends. I also love that automotive is ultimately a people business. relationships, trust, and problem-solving are at the center of everything we do, and that’s what has kept me engaged and excited about the industry.

What is the top trend you’re watching in the used-car industry this year?

The biggest trend I’m watching is how AI is beginning to transform the dealership and customer experience. From lead management and customer communication to inventory merchandising and operational efficiency, AI is helping dealerships work smarter and respond to customers faster and more personally.

What accomplishment are you most proud of in your career?
I’m most proud of building strong partnerships and helping organizations create meaningful growth through collaboration and problem-solving. For me, success has always been less about one individual achievement and more about the relationships built along the way and the impact those relationships create for partners and teams.

What book, film or song has inspired you personally or professionally?
One book that has really stayed with me is “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. I appreciate the idea that small, consistent improvements over time can lead to meaningful results. That mindset applies so well to both professional growth and leadership. I’ve learned that success usually comes from consistency, not one big moment.

Who is someone who has inspired you personally or professionally?
My mother has been one of my biggest inspirations, both personally and professionally. She was a working mom who balanced career responsibilities while always being incredibly present for our family, and watching her taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and showing up for the people who matter most.

Now that I’m a mom myself, I have an even greater appreciation for everything she managed and the example she set. She showed me that it’s possible to build a meaningful career while also creating a strong, connected family.
