What prompted/inspired you to join the auto industry and what do you enjoy most about it?
I joined the automotive industry somewhat unexpectedly, but quickly realized it was the perfect blend of relationship-building, strategy, and measurable impact.
What inspired me to stay is the people. Automotive is a dynamic, resilient industry filled with entrepreneurial leaders who are deeply committed to their customers, employees, and communities. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with some of the largest dealer groups in the country, helping them use data and technology to strengthen customer loyalty, improve retention, and drive long-term growth.
What I enjoy most is serving as a trusted advisor. I love understanding each organization’s goals, identifying opportunities they may not see, and developing strategies that create results across large and complex businesses.
The automotive industry is constantly evolving, which keeps the work exciting and challenging. No two days are the same, and the relationships I’ve built along the way have been the most rewarding part of my career. It is an industry built on innovation, resilience, and strong partnerships, and I’m grateful to be part of it.

What is the top trend you’re watching in the used-car industry this year?
The top trend I’m watching in the used car industry is how dealers are using data and technology to make smarter decisions in a more challenging market.
Inventory acquisition remains highly competitive, and dealers are under pressure to source the right vehicles, price them accurately, and turn them quickly while maintaining profitability. At the same time, consumers expect greater transparency and a more seamless buying experience.
What I find most interesting is how successful dealers are leveraging data to improve every part of the process, from acquisition and merchandising to customer retention and service.
In my experience, the dealers who consistently outperform are the ones that use data not just to react to the market, but to make proactive decisions that build trust and drive long-term customer loyalty.
What accomplishment are you most proud of in your career?
The accomplishment I’m most proud of is the relationships and trust I’ve built throughout my career.
I’ve been fortunate to work with some incredible people, and it’s rewarding to know that others view me as someone they can count on.
Watching others grow and succeed has also been one of the most meaningful parts of my career.
What book, film or song has inspired you personally or professionally?
A song that has inspired me both personally and professionally is “I Hope You Dance,” by Lee Ann Womack.
Its message is about embracing opportunities, staying curious, and having the courage to take risks rather than standing on the sidelines. Throughout my career and personal life, I’ve tried to say yes to new challenges, trust my instincts, and keep moving forward even when the path wasn’t entirely clear.
The lyric “I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean” is a reminder to stay humble and appreciative, while “I hope you dance” encourages us to fully engage in life instead of letting fear hold us back.
It’s a song that reminds me to be grateful, take chances, and make the most of every opportunity.
Who is someone who has inspired you personally or professionally?
Those who have inspired me most are the women in my closest circle. Over the years, we have supported one another through life’s highest highs and most difficult challenges. Their resilience, honesty, humor, and unwavering loyalty have been a constant source of strength and inspiration.
These friendships have reminded me that success is not just about individual achievement, but about the people who encourage you, challenge you, and stand beside you through every season of life. Their example has shaped both how I lead and how I show up for others.
