Healey Brothers Automotive Group has set par at $100,000.

That’s the amount in donations the New York state-based dealer group is driving towards when it hosts its Fifth Annual Golf Outing on Oct. 2 to support Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley.

Should the group’s Driven to Give Foundation meet that goal, it would be enough to grant about 10 wishes to children battling critical illnesses in the region.

That amount would also be the foundation’s largest ever charitable gift.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley for this year’s golf outing,” Healy Brothers chief marketing officer Jay Healey.

“Reaching our goal of raising $100,000 would allow us to help grant wishes for children right here in our community. Knowing our collective efforts can bring hope and joy to local families is incredibly meaningful,” Healey said.

“This milestone would not be possible without the tremendous support of our employees, customers and especially Ford Motor Company, whose commitment to both its dealers and the communities they serve has helped make this goal achievable.”

The Hudson Valley region currently has more than 150 children waiting their wishes to be granted, including 41 in Orange and Dutchess counites. Typically, each wish costs about $10,000 for Make-A-Wish to fulfill.

Buy-sell in Texas

Ethan Lee of Lumos Auto Group has acquired Acura of the Rio Grande Valley in San Juan, Texas from Bill Bird, according to a news release from Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions, which represented the seller in the deal.
