In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Step One Automotive Group is running its annual Drive Out Breast Cancer campaign throughout October.
The Florida-based dealer group’s pink Jeep Grand Cherokee will make stops at Step One locations and community events this month, where visitors can add their signature to the Jeep.
For each signature collected, the dealer group will donate $1 to Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation, up to $5,000.
Those signing the Jeep can choose from three colors in recognition of a personal connection to breast cancer: Gold in memory those who have passed away from breast cancer, silver for those facing or previously facing breast cancer, and black for those who simply want to show support
“Drive Out Breast Cancer has given our community a meaningful way to come together each October since we started the campaign in 2021,” said Maureen Bierman, director of support operations, in a news release. “Whether someone is remembering a loved one, honoring someone currently facing breast cancer or simply showing their support, every signature represents a personal connection.”
