Barrett-Jackson Unveils Lineup of Events to Complement 41st Annual Scottsdale Auction

With the expectation of more than 250,000 attendees, Barrett-Jackson is planning more than 13 events associated with its 41st annual Scottsdale auction of high-end collectible cars and more.
Most of the events are set to take place at the Lifestyle Pavilion beginning on Jan. 15.
“This year’s event will offer an experience for the entire family unlike any in years past with the expansion of the Lifestyle Pavilion, a massive exhibition area full of events, displays and fashions designed to appeal to the entire family,” Barrett-Jackson officials emphasized.
“Those who prefer to enjoy event offerings away from the action of the auction block need look no further than the new Pavilion, where they can kick back and enjoy fashion shows, demonstrations, spa treatments, food and wine pairings, a blowout bar and lounge area along with a variety of can’t-miss events sure to cement Barrett-Jackson’s reputation as a destination for auto enthusiasts and their friends and families alike,” they went on to highlight.
The list of 13 events includes:
—Family Value Day presented by Cox Media: This year’s auction kicks off Jan. 15 with Family Value Day, featuring reduced ticket prices and various kid-friendly activities, including appearances by Arizona Cardinals Mascot “Big Red,” Phoenix Coyotes Mascot and Diamondbacks Mascot, the AZ Kids Got Talent show, a children’s fashion show and family expo. Additional family friendly activities include tire-changing seminars, vehicle care demos and children’s playlands. Proceeds from the event will benefit Cox Charities. Activities are located throughout WestWorld.
—VIP Preview/ Catwalk for a Cause 3D: Featuring American Idol alum and Arizona native Jordin Sparks, this year’s Catwalk for a Cause 3D takes place from 7–10 p.m. on Jan. 17 in the Lifestyle Pavilion with event proceeds benefiting MAD (Making a Difference) Girls.
—Fine Wine and Design Expo: Showcasing local and national designers, an interior design showcase, and of course, wine tastings to enjoy as you peruse the latest trends in home décor. The event runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 18 in the Lifestyle Pavilion.
—Celebrity Chef Throw Down, “Battle of the Batter” and Thermador Cooking Expo: The activities run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 18 in the Lifestyle Pavilion with event proceeds benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
—Celebrity Martini-Mix Off: The celeb celebration takes place from 6–10 p.m. on Jan. 18 in the Lifestyle Pavilion, featuring a live performance by Glen Templeton and the Full Throttle Band.
—Dress for Success Style Show: Featuring Bobbi Brown make-up artists, previews of the latest trends in fashion, CRAVE stylists and fashion show, it all takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 19 in the Lifestyle Pavilion with proceeds benefiting Dress for Success Phoenix.
—The International; Fiesta of Four Flags: Featuring the latest in fashion, food and flavor from around the world, organizers plan to share culinary treats and the latest trends from Italy, Germany, Russia and the United States with special performances from the U.S. Color Guard. Activities run from 7–10 p.m. on Jan. 19 in the Lifestyle Pavilion, benefiting the Veteran Tickets Foundation.
—Paw Pawshion Show: This is a pet fashion show and expo featuring and benefiting Gabriel’s Angels, which provides pet therapy to abused and at-risk youths. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 20 in the Lifestyle Pavilion.
—FUEL Your Senses: The Barrett-Jackson Culinary and Wine Fest features flavors from some of Scottsdale’s premier culinary destinations in the Lifestyle Pavilion.
—Jazz, Jewelry & Bedazzled Brunch: The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 21 in the Lifestyle Pavilion, featuring a high-fashion jewelry expo & champagne tastings.
—Icing: The Million Dollar Diamond and Dessert Show: Considered the gem of the Barrett-Jackson Lifestyle Pavilion, the event features a VIP preview show with Beach Bunnies, Million Dollar Diamond Fashion Show and a sampling of sweet confections to benefit the American Cancer Society.
—Sunday Funday: Champagne Brunch and Celebrity Karaoke Contest: Pair yourself with a local or national celebrity and sing your heart out to a panel of judges to win prizes. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 22 in the Lifestyle Pavilion, benefiting Childhelp.
—The Tilted Kilt Garage: This year with energy infused from Tilted Kilt, Barrett-Jackson’s social club is going to rev the engine on its nightlife scene. The Garage, which mixes the high-energy of Barrett-Jackson with the beauty associated with all-things steel and Scottsdale, is considered by organizers as the finest velvet-rope venue this winter, The Garage is center stage at WestWorld throughout the auction, and immediately adjacent to the staging lanes.
—Stars and Their Cars: Celebrities flock to Barrett-Jackson every year. Tony Stewart, Alice Cooper, George Foreman, Randy Johnson, Wolf Blitzer, Nicholas Cage, Pamela Anderson, Sammy Hagar, David Spade, Paul McCartney, Michael Anthony, DMX, Smashing Pumpkins, Bill Goldberg, Harry Morton, Tim Allen and countless other celebrities are Barrett-Jackson loyalists, previous attendees and future headliners.
