CARMEL, Ind. –
ADESA revealed Monday afternoon that it has rolled out a revamped ADESA Market Guide that now includes data on vehicle sales from all independent auctions participating in AuctionPipeline, meaning the guide’s wholesale value calculations will be based on a “considerably larger” sample size.
ADESA contends that having more local and national wholesale transaction data in the guide puts even more information in the hands of its customers.
"The new ADESA Market Guide makes it easier for our customers to make informed pricing decisions,” said ADESA president and chief executive officer Tom Caruso. “I’m pleased to partner with AuctionPipeline to include their data in our wholesale vehicle averages.”
Not only is this data available in the AMG, it can also be tapped into through the Auction Pipeline PAR vehicle valuation resource.
This enhancement falls under the “Plus” collaboration between ADESA and AuctionPipeline. Basically, this online sharing of resources aims to help consignors, dealers and auctions, while also expanding both the selection of vehicles and buyer base.
