MONTVALE, N.J. –
Mercedes-Benz USA created a new executive position Thursday — general manager of customer experience — that includes responsibilites for developing, directing and executing initiatives across all areas of the business, including the dealer network.
Effective May 1, serving in this position will be Harry Hynekamp, who will report to MBUSA president and chief executive officer Steve Cannon.
Hynekamp has been part of the MBUSA leadership team for more than eight years and has held various roles, most recently general manager of learning and performance.
Executives recapped Hynekamp joined MBUSA in 1991 and assumed his most recent position in learning and performance in 2009.
“The creation of this new area under the leadership of Harry Hynekamp underscores our commitment to elevate the ownership experience to the same standards to which we hold our products: The best or nothing,” Cannon stressed.
