PALO ALTO, Calif. –
Third-party sales site The Car Connection announced Wednesday the launch of a new pricing application that allows shoppers to “build, price and then share” a vehicle they might be interested in, seeing price changes along the way.
The new Build Your Car pricing application is “the latest addition to its suite of car review and research products that help car shoppers make more informed car buying decisions,” the company explained.
And on top of giving consumer’s the ability to personalize their new ride and see what it is going to cost them, the application also provides professional buying advice at the style level from industry experts who produce The Car Connection’s car reviews.
The company contends this may help clarify what can be a difficult or confusing part of the car-buying process.
Commenting on the news, Marty Padgett, editorial director of The Car Connection, noted, "Car shoppers usually swim in a confusing sea of car names, options, initials and prices that make the ‘last mile’ of the decision process extremely difficult.
"We wanted to add our editors’ expert tips and guidance at this exact point in the build and price process to make these tools more helpful,” Padgett added.
