SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. –
A new service for auto dealers just released by DealerSocket offers a clean sweep of sorts, when it comes to a dealer’s customer database.
DealerSocket on Tuesday announced the launch of data validation product DataRefresh, a monthly service that performs NCOA, CASS and DNC flagging and appends physical and email addresses and phone numbers.
“Quality and accuracy is of the utmost importance when it comes to a CRM database,” said Brad Perry, DealerSocket co-founder and chief technology officer. “DataRefresh keeps your most valuable asset — your data — clean, current and accurate.”
The DataRefresh product verifies all prospect and sold customer records in a database, the company said, and allows prospects and customers to choose a communication preference. This helps keep auto dealers in compliance, and keep their online reputations positive.
DealerSocket officials said the product also boosts ROI and customer connectivity by increasing the number of valid email addresses and phone numbers in a database, and limiting bounces and spam complaints.
DataRefresh can also help dealers manage opt-out preferences, identify phone numbers that are do-not-call listed, and decrease overhead by removing outdated addresses.

“DataRefresh is yet another step we are taking to create a single source of accurate, usable and clean data for dealers to use in marketing, list distributions and the tracking of customer communication preferences,” Perry said.
