The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance has put out a call for an executive director, and is looking for “a proven leader with strong public speaking abilities and prior industry experience” to fill the position.

The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) assists, educates, and shares knowledge across the Vehicle Remarketing industry, so that each alliance member is empowered to maximize efficiencies with access to new ideas and best practice exchanges that will engender continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

We are currently seeking a proven leader with strong public speaking abilities and prior industry experience to serve as executive officer of the alliance which includes acting as primary spokesperson, reporting to the board of directors and directing day-to-day administrative duties including maintaining membership lists and renewals.

You will provide consultation and recommendations to the IARA President and Executive Committee; review and publish monthly financial statements; assist in developing the annual budget; negotiate and administer IARA contracts; coordinate committee meetings; promote the IARA to potential members & sponsors and coordinate online educational courses and the certification program.

Position requires strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills; familiarity with anti-trust issues for non-profit organizations and the ability to comprehend financial statements and thrive making presentations in a boardroom setting.
