The Next Up Moves RSP to Cloud for Improved Dealership Communications

Greater visibility and improved analytics in the dealership, without taxing its local area network, is the goal of The Next Up, in announcing a new version of its retail sales process.
On Tuesday, The Next Up announced its all-new, 100 percent cloud-based version of the software for 2013, which the company bills as the “only technologies in the space able to deliver anytime, anywhere access to the retail sales process globally.”
At the heart of The Next Up’ s services is streamlining and analyzing a dealership process by offering managers the true numbers of prospects walking through their door and steps for team members to follow that can increase sales and gross profits.
Now, by building a cloud-based service, The Next Up can move forward with its mobile and geo-targeting features, the company said, to be introduced later this year.
“It took us more than a year and a half to build this Microsoft Azure cloud-based version of our software, complete with customization to meet all dealership needs globally,” said Clint Burns, founder of The Next Up. “The cloud enables us to build real-time multi-platform communication that will not tax a dealership’s local area network.”
By moving to the cloud, The Next Up system can now be used to obtain greater visibility in areas of the dealership including service, F&I and delivery. For example, managers can analyze team success and respond immediately if a member of the team is underperforming, or address other issues as they occur.
“As a company we strive to always be ahead of the curve and focused on the next big thing for our dealer clients, and this represents another way we can help them get to the next level,” said Burns.
“Starting 2013 in the cloud will allow us to introduce some truly forward-thinking mobile tools and never-before-seen analytics at dealerships in the coming months.”
